Day 70: Day 2 of Treatment #4

Tony’s AMU nurse today was Justin. Shorter infusion days are much more enjoyable, and the time passes quickly.

I’m doing better after fighting that cold virus, but not at 💯% yet, so I asked Tony if we could lie low at the Fisher House today instead of going on our usual adventure. I think Tony was getting a little stir-crazy and was hoping to get out for a while, but he settled in and found a movie to watch while I rested. Our daughter Josie called to catch us up on everything, and we enjoyed a nice, unhurried visit until my phone died. 🥲

My thoughts lately have centered on these questions:

How do these challenges fit into God’s plan? Is this part of the plan, or just randomness we are subjected to as part of the adventure we accepted when coming to earth? Are we successfully encouraging others to have faith and trust in the Lord during adversity?

What are we supposed to learn from this experience that we haven’t learned from the last three, so we can stop feeling like we’re living in a dang Groundhog Day movie? 🎥 🍿

Going through something hard? Give your family one place to follow along.

Telling hard news again on every call and every text wears you out. That's why we made this blog: one place for Tony's story, updates by email, and a simple way for friends to help. I built it with HBA's Funnel Builder by typing what I wanted in plain words. If your family is walking through something hard, you can have a place like this too.

Starting through our link also helps support this site.
